History of the company and scope of activities

D.P. Kontakt Organization and Foreign Trade Ltd. was established in 1989 in Békéscsaba, one of the most significant grain industrial center of the Great Plane. The trading headquarters of the company are in Békéscsaba, but we also have an office in the capital, Budapest. The company is in 100% private ownership, its operation is ensured by long-term block-contracts both abroad and within Hungary.

The company deals with the trading of grains and oil-seeds and our dominant activities are business within the EU and export activities.

We also organize and finance the production of certain types and quantities of agricultural products both in Hungary and abroad. The firm also imports soya-bean meal and sowing seed as well as pesticides in minor quantities. We have worked out a special system for the optimal ensuring of stocks. The system builds on each other organically and it mixes the elements of back to back businesses and contractual production as well as purchases for warehousing (we have 10-12 storing facilities at different points of the country).
 

Commercial terms and delivery conditions:
- FOB Danube ports from Baja to Komárom
- CIF EU ports – according to requirement

Ports most commonly used for CIF terms by the company: Straubing, Kelheim, Regensburg, Passau.

We have contracts with several shipping companies for water-carriage.
- EXW sales and purchases both in Transdanubia and the Great Plane region
- FCA railcar and truck businesses all over Hungary.

As for del credere businesses we mainly work with CAD, while in case of new partners the L/C and standby L/C occurs as well. IN THE CONTRACTS, EXCEPT THOSE WHICH WERE SETTLED ON OTHER PARITY, D.P. KONTAKT LTD. PURCHASES THE GOODS ON SITE, LOADED INTO TRUCKS. BEFORE THE DELIVERY, THE QUALITY IS CONTROLLED BY AN INTERNATIONALLY ACCREDITED SURVEYOR COMPANY (ISI, SGS, GABONA CONTROL, MERTCONTROL) AND THE PROCESS OF LOADING IS ALSO UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A NEUTRAL SURVEYOR FIRM. THE EQUIVALENT OF THE GOODS IS TRANSFERED LATEST AT THE SAME TIME OF DELIVERY, AGAINST A COMMERCIAL INVOICE. OUR TRADING PARTNERS ARE INSPECTED. OUR CONTRACTING CREDIT INSURANCE PARTNER IS COFACE.

Company structure and availability:
The company is directed by a management team of six, our work is supported by reliable purchasing managers and subcontractors. Some of the activities are divided within the company, while others cannot be strictly separated.
